 The new Dice has been redesigned by Ralf Grösel with inspirational input from Aaron Hadlow and Lasse Walker. The goal was to make a kite that could compete at the highest level in the "King of The Air", performing huge jumps and super powerful kiteloops. Also, our team wanted its performance to be also good for unhooked maneuvers, which would make it a really versatile kite. This year the weight of the kite has been reduced in order to improve its flying properties and the bridles have been fine-tuned with a pulleyless design for a greater sense of precision. These design changes for 2021 also combine with modern materials that give the construction of the profile an absolute solidity. This allows the kite to react accurately and responsively, yet remain very stable in strong or gusty wind conditions. What Aaron and Lasse really wanted was to maximize its jumping capabilities and its fast-spinning properties, which make it incredibly reactive, allowing for an explosive launch when taking off out of the water. By tuning the flanges and wingtips, it has been possible to increase the turning speed, but at the same time ensuring that the kiteloops have full power with a lot of lateral traction in the air. For freestyle, the Dice offers adequate line tension release right after pop, allowing you to easily perform the most innovative maneuvers. The fast handling properties also make the Dice a good choice for surfing, while the reduced weight enhances the kite's drift capabilities. If you really want to have a high performance multi-purpose kite, then the Dice is the right choice for you. No matter what the conditions are, this kite will be ready to go on the water and if the conditions get tough then the Dice will be there to help you fly!
